1. Module Description: 
Participants will be exposed to several aspects of current business practices and techniques. This includes detailed discussions of conceptual and practical aspects of business strategies.

The module will also expose participants to decision making by utilizing business concepts, theories and tools. The participants will learn and demonstrate the ability to analyze issues and recommend a comprehensive business strategy and workable approach to business situations. The module will consider current business issues and developments in real world discussions directly related to their industry.

2. Module Objectives:
To learn and apply each of the Module Outcome Competencies in a practical and useful way, within the business environment. Positioning the participants as a unique innovator in evaluating and solving complex business problems.

3. Module Outcomes
1) Formulate and develop a conceptual framework and apply practical skills to understand, formulate and assess the importance of strategies and policies in managing their business.

2) Apply key related concepts and skills such as socioeconomic impacts, cultural issues, resource constraints, market uncertainties.

3) Apply practical knowledge of management practices, theory, and practice their inter-personal relationships and professionally integrate them into strategies. Guiding the business to a dynamic evolving environment

4) Develop personal strategies to establish yourself as an important member of your company’s management team vs. a specialized operations manager.

5) Understand how complex business concepts can be used and applied in everyday management of an operation. Understand how managerial functions and actions tend to interact with one another in a complex way.

6) Develop skills to creatively conceive propose and implement basic business strategies backed up by contingency strategies to achieve goals.

7) Understand and leverage the viewpoints of investors, management employees, and customers and suppliers into business strategies.

8) Perform in the areas of strategy relative to products, human resources and technologies.
