Our founder, Mark A. Wilcher originally hails from Chicago, Illinois where he held numerous senior level management positions with major retailers throughout the Midwest. M.W. Consultants’s Founder eventually migrated to Southern California where he and his wife now reside.

But he hasn’t always worn the title of Founder and President, quite the contrary. His working career started at the bottom of the totem pole, miles from the top and final decision making responsibility. 

Mr. Wilcher is quoted as saying “When you’re a janitor and the “boss” walks in to the restroom, asking “how are things going?”, you can only think “OK, but I wish I were in your position.”

Over these many years, Mr. Wilcher has moved through one challenging positions after another, lead worker, supervisor, manager, director, general manager and Vice President of Operations and now Founder/President. He earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration during those advancing years and took on a leadership role for the companies he’s worked for. But most importantly he never forgot the days as a janitor or the people responsible for performing those critical functions.

These hands on experiences and a “been there done that” approach to business make him especially qualified to present M.W. Consultants.

Founded in 1989, M.W. Consultants is the results of Mr. Wilcher’s thirty years of progressive management responsibility, a deep rooted understanding of the needs of Business, and an approach to teaching entrepreneurs, corporate executives, senior and mid-level  managers best practices that is truly unique.
